The Dolmor Salon
Welcome to the Dolmor Salon. We have had the distinct privilege of making Norfolk beautiful for over 50 years. The Dolmor Salon is a 2400 square foot facility, conveniently located on one floor which makes for easy access for those with disabilities.
The Dolmor was originally owned and operated by Elizabeth and Flory Engelhardt, opening in 1952 and establishing a thriving business, built on respect and attention to detail. In 1991 , their daughter Lisa, together with husband David Robinson purchased the business and have continued to build on the success of the original Engelhardts. The Dolmor features 10 styling stations, a private technical area for chemical treatments, a relaxing lather lounge, and a private room for hair system consultations and extensions. Our extensive retail area is always well stocked with professional hair care products, styling tools such as flat irons, blow dryers, hot rollers, brushes and combs. Also the Dolmor boasts an extensive accessory retail area with a fabulous collection of purses, evening bags, watches, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces.
Eden Esthetics and Day Spa is located in the salon building. Owned by Lisa’s sister Brendalee, Eden offers complete esthetic services to complement the salon service including waxing, manicures, pedicures, massages, and make-up applications. For more in-depth personal care services we invite you to visit the Florian Clinic, An integrated personal care clinic which is located one block from the salon also owned by Brendalee.
My Top Drawer fine lingerie and swim wear boutique is also located within the Dolmor Salon building. This Lingerie boutique offers personal bra fittings daily with no appointment necessary. Fitting cup sizes A-LL and 30-56 around, when they say “you bring ‘em, we fit ‘em” they really mean it. My Top Drawer features lines from Chantelle, Rosa Faia, Anita, Freya, Empreinte and Fantasy. My Top Drawer also carries body shaping garments, Sleepwear, bridal, swimwear including cup sized bathing suits, and a complete line of post mastectomy products including bras and prosthesis.
