The Dolmor features 10 styling stations, a colour bar for treatments, a relaxing lather lounge, an esthetics room, and a private room for wig and hair extension consultations.

Our extensive retail area is always well stocked with professional hair care products including: Eufora, Eufora HERO for men, Goldwell and milk_shake. As well, we stock and recommend professional styling tools such as flat irons, blow dryers, curling wands and all of the latest and greatest brushes to help you maintain your fabulous new hair style at home.
Opening in 1952, the Dolmor was originally owned and operated by Elizabeth and Flory Engelhardt, establishing a thriving business built on respect and attention to detail. In 1991, their daughter Lisa, together with husband David Robinson, purchased the business and have continued to build on the success of the original Engelhardt’s.
The Dolmor has been passed over to a young couple with the same drive for success that Elizabeth and Flory had for the salon many years ago. Amanda and Jason Watson have been the new owners since December of 2019. They’re looking forward to the future of the salon!
Our Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes it is necessary to reschedule or cancel appointments. Therefore, please notify us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time and we will gladly reschedule your appointment. Please understand that when you forget about or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time. Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours before because we know how easy it is to forget.
If we do not hear from you 15 or more minutes into your scheduled appointment time it is considered a “No-Show” and your card will be charged for 50% of the services scheduled. Please note that if you are over 15 minutes late for your appointment we may have to reschedule your service if it cannot be completed in the remaining time frame. All attempts to reschedule in a timely manner will be made.
For appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours or “no-shows”, we charge 50% of the service total.
In the event that the 24 hour cancellation fee is required, we will call you and request payment by phone. Once we receive the payment, we will be happy to schedule your next service.

Amanda Watson, Owner & Master Stylist
Born and raised in Norfolk County, Amanda is the newest owner of The Dolmor. Some of Amanda’s hobbies include painting, sailing/boating, camping, cooking/baking, and being outdoors. Amanda and her husband and business partner Jason have a young daughter who regularly comes to visit the salon. Amanda has been in the industry for over 9 years, and she previously graduated from the Hair Styling program from Marvel Beauty School in London, Ontario. Amanda specializes in blondes, colours, cuts, barbering, and up-dos. Amanda is also a certified make-up artist. Amanda has been a stylist at the Dolmor for over 7 years.

Mary-Jo has worked at the Dolmor for 15 years, where she specializes in colour and creative styles. Mary-Jo is a proud mom, and enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors in her spare time.

Tim’s career at the Dolmor began over 20 years ago. As a child, Tim dreamt of becoming a hair stylist. Tim enjoys working with short hair and colour. In his spare time, Tim collects vintage glassware and attends trade shows.

For as long as she can remember, Liz wanted to be a hair stylist. She graduated from Marvel Beauty School in London, Ontario in 2012, and has been licensed since 2012. Liz enjoys hair cutting, including fades and blends. Liz also specializes in blonde colour tones and up-dos.

Deb joined the Dolmor team in 2014 on her birthday November 28 as a part-time receptionist. She loves meeting and greeting clients as they arrive at the salon! Deb helps manage and confirm appointments, sell retail products, assist customers, and helps out stylists when needed.
